Forget about Rihanna‘s performance with Kanye West and Paul McCartney, or that cake topper-slash-loofah pink dress she wore, for Rihanna, the 2015 Grammy Awards were all about the babies. Who could forget that squee-inducing photo of Rihanna and Blue Ivy Carter sharing a moment backstage? That was sweet, but Blue Ivy wasn’t the only kid Rihanna spent time with. Rihanna uploaded a photo to Instagram of her backstage with her cousin, Majesty. It’s cute but also hilarious because it looks like Rihanna is using her magical powers to carry Majesty. (You know she has them.)
In the photo, Rihanna is walking backstage in her Grammys performance outfit. Majesty seems to have mastered the art of hovering, or she is capable of defying the laws of gravity, because it doesn’t look like anything is supporting her. It almost looks like Rihanna has strapped Majesty to her chest with some invisible harness, like a rather large brooch, and she’s just casually strolling down the corridor, like it doesn’t even matter she has a baby on her.
Of course, Rihanna actually is supporting Majesty. If you look at the photo closely, you can just make out Rihanna’s hand under Majesty’s dress, wrapped around her legs. Sorry, there’s no magic involved this time, but with Rihanna you never know.
