Rihanna’s music has been known to influence the masses. However, one fan has taken it to an entirely different level. She’s become a “RiRi” walking shrine.
Robyn “Rihanna” Fenty is no stranger to fans who are willing to go above and beyond the call of “fanatics.” Yet, even the acts of this particular fan caught her off guard. The fan’s name is Sarah Ridge, 23. She’s been a Rihanna fan approximately since the age of 13, she tells Daily Star.
“I have loved Rihanna for nearly 10 years, and I’ll love her forever. Some people say I’ve ruined my body, but I just laugh it off. Rihanna’s face is gorgeous, so having her image on my body makes it look better in my eyes.
“My mum kept telling me to think about what I was doing and be sure it was really what I wanted. But nobody was going to stop me, I was dead set on it. It’s one where she’s sticking her middle finger up – I love it because it sums up her edginess.
“My friends think it’s a weird obsession and I know my family would prefer it if my tattoos were more discreet. Guys might be put off dating me, but to be honest, I’m only interested in men who are Rihanna fans anyway. Ultimately, as long as I love my tattoos, that’s all that matters.”
It seems that Sarah is living to the tune of Rihanna’s song, “FourFiveSeconds.” In reaction to her fan’s body art, RiRi remembered meeting her previously.

She told News as follows.
“You know what? I met her a while ago and she asked me to sign her arm. I signed it and then the next day I saw her again and she’d had it tatted. That was years ago and I hadn’t seen her much since then. But fast forward to now, that’s the update. I guess she never stopped…I mean, I wouldn’t do it. But it’s not me.”
Surely Robyn Fenty didn’t think, being a year old in 1989, that she’d grow up to have people permanently plaster her face all over themselves. That has to be some kind of realization right there. To look on Ridge’s body and practically see a timeline of herself and her musical evolution. In the same interview from News, Rihanna quotes as follows.
“I feel like my image evolves as I evolve as a woman. With growth, there’s change. My style is a reflection of my mood, my attitude wherever I am at, and you can see how it’s evolved since the beginning of my career just from my videos. And style is a huge part of that attitude.”
Having changed so drastically from her debut in 2005, do you think her musical and fashion styles have gotten better or worse? How about her influences, especially given what you’ve seen of Sarah Ridge?
