Rihanna Lands 'Voice' Season 9 Job - Joins Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani & Adam Levine

Just when you thought that the brand new season of The Voice couldn't get anymore star-studded, the NBC series has decided to shine even brighter with star power this year. They have just secured Mrs. Diamond herself, Rihanna, to join the series for a pretty major role. While each of the judges have their own mentors for season 9, the "B*tch Better Have My Money" star is serving in the same role that Taylor Swift did last year on the series. Rihanna will be helping out Adam Levine, Pharrell Williams and newly divorced Blake Shelton and Gwen Stefani, as the coaches key advisor. According to E! News, the "American Oxygen" starlet will be boarding the show as the newest adviser to all the contestants. "We landed Rihanna to be key adviser to all the coaches this fall," Robert Greenblatt, NBC Entertainment Chairman explained during the TCA panel that took place in Beverly Hills. "This is on of music's true supervisors coming on board to influence the lives and careers of the performers.

According to Variety, other stars that have held the position in the past have included Chris Martin, Nate Ruess and Taylor Swift.
As we previously reported, other mentors for the judges include Selena Gomez for Team Gwen, Brad Paisley on Team Blake, Missy Elliot for Pharrell Williams and Jon Fogerty on Team Adam.
However, Rihanna will be stopping by to help out all the teams, and this endeavor couldn't come at a better time for her as she is expected to release some new music this fall, which diehard fans like us have been waiting not so patiently for.

Rihanna and Lewis Hamilton spotted together in Barbados, again

The drama started after a fan under the name Itsrihannavy posted a snap on Instagram which shows her posing with a black man and captioned it: “Met one of Rihanna’s cousins Bert last night, he was soooo lovely”.
The two have been hanging out together during the Caribbean country’s week-long festival and it looks like they wrapped it up on Lewis’ yacht over the weekend. The Bajan beauty was spotted with Formula One Champion Lewis Hamilton who was also partying in Barbados.
The “B*tch Better Have My Money” singer was wearing floral-pattered two-piece suit, while the auto enthusiast was donning a pair of simple shorts and sleeveless white shirt.
This certainly isn’t the first time that we’ve seen the star’s incredible bikini body over the past week or so.
Lewis and Rihanna have steadily been getting closer since attending the Kadooment Day Parade together.
Hamilton is the latest sportsman that has been linked with Rihanna.
However, they also had a bunch of friends with them. RiRi, on the other hand, was rumored to be dating Real Madrid star Karim Benzema, when they were spotted in New York at a Cuban dining place in June.

Rihanna rocks two seriously fierce getups in one day!

From satin suits to skin-tight jeans, there isn't a look that Rihanna can't pull off - and yesterday the singer treated us to a duo of beyond fierce ensembles as she strolled through New York!

The star put on a very leggy display in this hoodie and heels combo having paid rapping maestro Jay Z a work visit in the early afternoon RiRi looked every inch the fashionista in the getup which boasted oversized pockets, extremely baggy sleeves and a graffiti design on the front.

Stepping out at a club in Soho, Rihanna poured her shapely pins into a pair of acid wash jeans and gave us all a little glimpse of her cleavage in this loose fitting white vest top.

Staying true to her unique style, the stunner popped on the most gorgeous pair of fuchsia heels and can we just take a second to appreciate the bang-on-trend tassel detail?!

Never one to blend in to the crowd, Ri colour co-ordinated her plump pout with the sassy shoes and wore those enviable cork-screw curls in a no-fuss down 'do for her night out in The Big Apple.

She caused quite a stir amongst a sea of adoring fans who were waiting for her outside the club which saw her being bundled into the venue by her hunky team of security guards!

Rihanna worries about being 'outsider'

Rihanna feels like an ''outsider''.
The 27-year-old beauty - who now enjoys a globetrotting lifestyle - has admitted she used to fear being in a new environment where she was ''exposed'' and lost her ''sense of comfort''.
She said: ''I have felt like an outsider ever since my first day of school. I think that's really it. When you are at home, you have this sense of comfort. You belong. It's familiar. It's you. Not until you leave your home and have to be in another environment, supervised by completely different people and around different children, that you're then immediately exposed to new things, new people.
''As strange as they are to you, you are to them. It can be hurtful, it comes off hurtful for children but really their trying to understand each other or they don't understand each other because they come from a completely different background or culture. It really is just about being who you are, no matter what.''
In her new animated movie 'Home', the 'Diamonds' hitmaker lends her voice to Tip and has admitted she was ''inspired by (the) strength'' of the character.
She added to Essence magazine: ''I want to be more like Tip. I was really inspired by her strength and determination. Even in real life, there are those moments where you start to doubt yourself, or you start to really feel like it's not the right thing.
''Or it's going in the wrong direction and it's taking too long. It shouldn't be this hard. You don't know. You start to lose hope. This movie did kind of bring that back [those feelings] for me.''
